The thought of confronting trauma can feel incredibly overwhelming for many. Trauma profoundly impacts our brains and influences both the big and small decisions we make in life.
At a time when trauma leaves us feeling completely out of control, working through it in a safe, professional, nurturing environment can help you gain back some of what the trauma had originally taken from you.

Worry and sadness are normal parts of the human experience. If these feelings linger and grow in intensity or negatively impact daily functioning, therapy can prove to be very helpful.
Roughly 10% of the American population suffers from depression, and about 19% suffer from an anxiety disorder. These can be very isolating experiences, but no one should suffer in silence.

Life is full of transitions, both big and small. Whether these transitions were expected or not, they can often feel heavy, endless, resistant, and even tumultuous. Significant changes can feel like a loss of identity and induce symptoms of depression and anxiety. Talk therapy can encourage acceptance, resilience, and confidence as circumstances evolve.

Women today are faced with a variety of challenges and surmounting responsibilities throughout their lifespan. Whether it's gender stereotypes, hormonal shifts, self-esteem and body image, or discrimination and harassment, women tend to carry heavy loads while no one notices.
Working through these gender-specific challenges can help lighten the mental load and lead to empowerment and success.
